The Greater Austin Black Chamber is sponsoring a forum in which business leaders, public health advocates, and educators will discuss the negative impact of climate change on African Americans and the benefits of a clean power plan. Panelists include John Hall, Texas State Director, Clean Energy, Environmental Defense Fund; Amanda Masino, Huston-Tillotson University Professor and Adviser to “Green is the New Black” student group; and Sheila Sturgis Craig, Associate Commissioner, Department of Health and Human Services.
