The Capital City African American Chamber of Commerce will host a critical dialogue on the state of education for African American children in the Austin area, including discussions on needs, challenges and innovative solutions. Speakers include AISD Superintendent Meria Carstarphen, Huston-Tillotson’s Roderick Smothers, Austin Community College District Board Chair Jeffrey Richard, and UT Professor Kevin Foster.

The event is free but registration requested.
