Video and social media are now being used around the world to advocate for human rights and document abuses. WITNESS Engagement Coordinator Jackie Zammuto will talk about her organization’s work in Brazil, Hong Kong, Venezuela, and Ferguson and lead a workshop on video activism — using video safely, ethically, and effectively to expose human rights abuse and fight for change. Participants will also learn how organizations and activist groups can strategically incorporate video into their campaign work.
