The recently convened Texas Commission on Judicial Selection is exploring alternatives to the system of partisan elections used in Texas. This event will examine the Texas Judiciary. What is our state’s court structure? What do Texas judges do? Should we be electing them? What are some alternatives to judicial elections, and how do other states choose judges?
