Youth Rise Texas will hold an end-of-the-summer celebration and fundraiser that includes youth theatre, live music from Krudas Cubensi, food, and cold drinks. The work of the first annual Youth Organizing Institute will be featured, with a multimedia monologue series created by six Austin teens impacted by familial incarceration and deportation. A brief talkback with Youth Rise teens will follow the performance.
