The Austin “live magazine” performance of Pop-Up Magazine will present new multimedia stories for the stage, with film, photography, sound, and animation, and a live score by the house band, Magik*Magik Orchestra.

Featured will be novelist Daniel Alarcón, novelist and host of the Spanish-language podcast “Radio Ambulante”; Brittany Luse and Eric Eddings, co-hosts of the podcast “The Nod” about black culture: Rose Eveleth, producer and host of the podcast about the future “Flash Forward”; Veena Rao, filmmaker for New York Times Op-Docs, The Atlantic, National Geographic; Rolling Stone writer Brittany Spanos; National Geographic photographer David Guttenfelder; and other writers and performers.
