Peace activist and ’60s New Left leader Tom Hayden, actor/singer/author Barbara Williams will be featured at a benefit for the Rag Blog. Austin blues-rock singer-songwriter Leeann Atherton and her band will perform, joined by Williams.

Hayden will discuss the April 26-28 Vietnam War Summit at the LBJ Library, at which he will speak. Williams will discuss and sign copies of her new book, The Hope in Leaving: A Memoir.

There will be a cash bar and Mexican buffet provided by La Peña. The suggested $15 donation, which includes a $5 food ticket, will benefit the New Journalism Project, the nonprofit that publishes The Rag Blog and sponsors Rag Radio.
