Pulitzer Prize winner and former New York Times reporter Isabel Wilkerson will read from her best-selling book The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America’s Great Migration. Based on 1,200 interviews, the book tells the story of three unforgettable protagonists who made what came to be known as the Great Migration out of the U.S. South in the 20th Century. Wilkerson’s book won a number of prizes, including the 2010 National Book Critics Circle Award for Nonfiction.
