Living Springs, in conjunction with Splash!, the Save Our Springs Alliance, and the Save Barton Creek Association, will screen “Common Ground: The Battle for Barton Springs.” The half-hour 1993 documentary, which chronicles the 18 month-long process that led to the citizen-led petition drive to enhance water quality protections for Barton Springs, was the first documentary produced by Austin-based media producer, Karen Kocher.

Location: Barton Springs near the big tree at the south entrance, Robert E. Lee Road, before dusk. Screening begins at full darkness, about 8:25 pm and will last half an hour. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
