Resistencia: The Fight for the Aguan Valley is a short film about the 2009 coup in Honduras. After the screening, School of Americas Watch Field Organizer María Luisa Rosal, whose family sought political asylum in the U.S. after her father was disappeared in Guatemala in the 1980’s, will lead a discussion of the film and speak about migration, militarization, and the U.S. role in the region.
