Texas is the most deadly state in the country for the construction industry, and one in five construction workers is injured on the job. The Workers Defense Project has a day of activities planned for the international day of remembrance to honor those who have died or have been injured on the job.
The day begins with a resolution on the floor of the Texas House of Representatives and continues through the day with visits to legislators.
