Stephanie Elizondo Griest will read from her new book, All the Agents and Saints, in which she weaves seven years of stories from the southern and northern U.S. borders into a meditation on the impact of international borderlines. The book examines the legacy of having a border slice ancestral land in two, as experienced by Tejanos and Mohawks from the Akwesasne Nation.

Elizondo Griest, a 1997 graduate of the University of Texas and an assistant professor of creative nonfiction at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is also the author of Around the Bloc: My Life in Moscow, Beijing, and Havana; Mexican Enough: My Life Between the Borderline; and 100 Places Every Woman Should Go.
