University of Texas professors Ben Carrington (sociology) and Cherise Smith (art history), Steven Thrasher from the Guardian US, and KUT host/producer Rebecca McInroy will discuss the life and legacy of the legendary UK cultural theorist Stuart Hall in a “Views and Brews” conversation. The panelists will discuss Hall’s ideas about authoritarian populism, the importance of art, and understanding media in our current social and political climate.

Carrington and McInroy produce the KUT podcast project “Stuart Hall: In Conversations.”
