The Reach Education Fund and Austin’s Interfaith Community for Palestinian Rights are sponsoring a family-friendly community 5K walk/run benefiting college students in Palestine. Reach Education Fund, a Houston-based nonprofit, provided university scholarships to 100 students in Palestine last year.
The event starts at 9 am, with the run at 10 am with two loops around Creek Trail starting and ending at Virg Rabb Pavillion at Old Settlers Park. The $35 registration fee can be paid online. More information on Facebook or contact elzabri@gmail.com, (512) 585-8184.
