University of Texas historian Daina Ramey Berry will read from her new book, A Black Women’s History of the United States, co-authored with Rutgers University historian Kali Nicole Gross.
Berry, the Oliver H. Radkey Regents Professor of History and Associate Dean for Graduate Education Transformation, is also the author of the 2017 book The Price for their Pound of Flesh: The Value of the Enslaved, from Womb to the Grave, in the Building of a Nation.
