With the disappearance of three teenage Israeli settlers in the news, Israel has taken the opportunity to escalate their aggression and collective punishment against Palestinian communities in the West Bank and Gaza. Nightly raids, more than 500 arrests without charge (including of children), indefinite detention (“administrative detentions”), the bombardment of Gaza, and the death of at least five Palestinians have occurred since the three Israeli teens living in illegal West Bank settlements have gone missing. To date, no one has presented credible evidence as to what happened to these teens or who might be responsible.

The Interfaith Community for Palestinian Rights, Austin, TX  and other local peace and justice organizations are gathering to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and demand an end to the Israeli siege and occupation, and the release of all Palestinians kidnapped by Israeli forces, with special emphasis on the estimated 200 Palestinian children who languish in Israeli military prisons.
