A discussion with producer Debra Martin Chase will follow a free screening of “Harriet,” the new film about Harriet Tubman. Martin Chase is the first African American female producer to secure a deal with a major Hollywood studio.

Doors will open at 4:30 pm and the movie will begin at 5 pm, followed by the discussion. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.

The event is sponsored by the College of Fine Arts, John L. Warfield Center for African and African American Studies, and the Department of Radio, Television and Film at the University of Texas. More information online.
