A film screening and discussion on “Going In, Getting Out: Race and Incarceration in the U.S.” will examine the intersection of race and mass incarceration in the United States. The event begins with a screening of Ava DuVernay’s award-winning documentary “13th,” followed by a panel discussion featuring staff from Grassroots Leadership and University of Texas faculty.
