A panel will discuss how to tell fact from fiction in political communication, including Sharon Strover, a professor in the University of Texas School of Journalism who directs the university’s Technology and Information Policy Institute; Jessica Collier, a doctoral student in Communication Studies at UT and a research associate with the Center for Media Engagement; and Kevin Welch, president of the board of the Electronic Frontier Foundation-Austin.
