This documentary uses archival news coverage and interviews to tell the story of the Philadelphia-based group MOVE. In 1985, police bombed the Philadelphia neighborhood in which MOVE members lived, destroying 61 homes and killing 11 people, including five children. It was later discovered that authorities decided to “let the fire burn.”
The event is a collaboration with the Texas Black Arts Foundation.
