Colin O’Malley will discuss how to expand the popularity and influence of anarchist ideas in movements for social and economic justice in the United States. After traveling to Argentina to learn about ways from workers were turning closed-down workplaces into worker-owned\operated cooperatives, O’Malley returned to Buffalo, NY, and helped found the anarchist group Buffalo Class Action. In 2011, he moved to Rochester, NY, and helped to found Rochester Red & Black, another local anarchist organization.
