A panel discussion on “Civics Education in the 21st Century” will focus on the design of a secondary-school civics curriculum. Panelists include Pamela Bixby, First Vote! chair, League of Women Voters Austin Area; Patrick McGuinness, President of North Austin Republicans; Amy Jaggers, social science department chair, Anderson High School; and Jahziel Leduna, Generation Citizen Student Leadership Board member.
