Huston-Tillotson University’s “Green is the New Black” group is hosting a discussion of how to make environmental change in Texas. Dave Cortez and Vanessa Ramos of the Sierra Club and Kelly Haragan of the University of Texas Environmental Law Clinic will discuss strategies to achieve clean air, clean water, and environmental justice. The event includes a screening of the short documentary “The Air We Breathe Tomorrow” about the battle to shut down coal-fired power plants in Texas.
