Getting Radical in the South is a student-run public interest law conference that focuses on social justice work in the South and the strategies that legal practitioners and other public-interest workers have developed to meet those needs.

Keynote speaker for the conference on Friday at 5 pm will be Roderick Keith Johnson, the plaintiff in the lawsuit led to address prison rape in Texas. Johnson will speak about his activist work both in prison and after his release.
