Is there such a thing as a right not to be offended? If so, how does it affect our understanding of freedom of speech? How should hateful speech be handled in our society? Panelists to consider these questions will be Roy Casagranda, ACC professor of government; Lauren Lluveras, postdoctoral fellow, Institute for Urban Policy Research & Analysis; and Mark Pulliam, lawyer and commentator.

The event is sponsored by Common Ground for Texans., a nonpartisan nonprofit based in Austin, Texas.
