MonkeyWrench will hold a memorial sale featuring books from the collection of Ran Moran, who passed away in December.  Ran was a longtime fixture of Austin progressive community, helping organize—typically behind the scenes and with little fanfare—countless events. Ran and his wife, Bernice Hecker, who has donated some of Ran’s books to MonkeyWrench, could be seen at nearly every march, protest, or progressive talk. For all of his work in Austin, Ran was named our first MonkeyWrencher of the Year in 2008.
