Angie Junck, supervising attorney at the Immigrant Legal Resource Center, will discuss national collaborations about the intersection of the immigration and criminal legal systems—the Defending Immigrants Project, devoted to protecting the rights of immigrants accused of crimes, and the Immigrant Justice Network, aimed at eliminating unjust immigration penalties for immigrants and ending the criminalization of immigrant communities.

The event is free, with lunch provided, but seating is limited and an RSVP is required. The event is sponsored by the William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law and the Opportunity Forum.
