Using never-before-seen archival footage, the documentary film “How to Change the World” is the story of the pioneers who founded Greenpeace and defined the modern green movement. A reception with light refreshments will be held at 6:30 pm with the screening at 7 pm, followed by a conversation with David Lyon, a scientist with the Environmental Defense Fund Oil & Gas team, and Dave Cortez, the Central Texas Beyond Coal Organizer with the Sierra Club.
The screening is part of the “Controversy & Conversation” series, a collaboration between the Austin Public Library and the Humanities Institute’s Difficult Dialogues Program at the University of Texas. More information online.
