Two national projects telling the story of mass incarceration in the United States will bring a focus on Texas’ prison and detention system to the University of Texas.
The first event, from 1:30-4:30 pm, will be “Mass Story Lab: The Texas Incarceration Maze.” Mass Story Lab is an art and design project that arms communities across the United States with creative tools to design solutions to mass incarceration. More information online.
The second event, from 5-7 pm, is a reception for States of Incarceration, a national traveling multi-media exhibition and coordinated public dialogue to explore the history and future of mass incarceration in the United States. More information online.
