A live recording of the KUT podcast “The Secret Ingredient” will feature Chris Seals, the co-founder of Still, the first urban whiskey distillery in Austin. Food and agriculture writers Raj Patel and Tom Philpott, along with host/producer Rebecca McInroy, will discuss the social and political history of distilling whiskey, why Austin is such an interesting place to house an urban distillery, and what new perspectives on whiskey can mean for agriculture in Texas.
