The Austin Language Justice Collective will host an event with Anh Ly, a senior at UT-Austin and language justice researcher and activist, who will present her insights on the experience of speakers of Vietnamese in Austin, and Odilia Romero and Janet Martinezare leaders of the indigenous-run organization, the Front of Indigenous Binational Organizations in Los Angeles, who will discuss organizing for language rights in Los Angeles since the 1990s.
