Austin Tan Cerca de la Frontera will sponsor the first in a series of “Border Talks” with a report of its recent delegation to the U.S.-Mexico border, reflecting on adverse effects of free trade on working people, their communities, and the environment of “free trade.”

ATCF (formed in September 1999 as a program of the Austin office of the American Friends Service Committee and an independent non-profit since 2010) sponsors three to four solidarity delegations a year, working with a Mexican non-governmental organization, the Comité Fronterizo de Obrer@s (Border Committee of Workers).
