Haim-Aaron (Aharon Traitel) is an intensely devout Orthodox yeshiva student engaged in a quiet struggle between his religious Orthodoxy and the human body. Brought to life after having been dead for 40 minutes, Haim-Aaron is beholden to uncanny forces, pulling him toward nocturnal explorations of the unknown. Part psychological horror film, part art-cinema, TIKKUN employs lyrical, striking black-and- white images to create an intimate, haunting reflection on faith and its challenges.
