Texans United for Families and the Interfaith MOSAIC and participate in a discussion about the private prison industry and immigrant detention. The event will start with a screening of the short film “Punishment and Profits,” which explains for-profit detention centers and why communities of faith should be concerned. A panel discussion with members of Texans United for Families, volunteers, and people of the faith community will follow.
