Texas Observer reporter Melissa del Bosque will read from her new book, Bloodlines: The True Story of a Drug Cartel, the FBI and the Battle for a Horse-Racing Dynasty, which tells the story of how drug cartel leader Miguel Treviño laundered money through American quarter horse racing.
Universal Pictures has optioned the book for a film that will start Channing Tatum.
