Anderson also will show some of his work documenting Occupy Austin, using those photos to explain the process of photographing the work of activists.

Anderson began working as a photographer in the alternative press in 1988 with the Washington City Paper in Washington, D.C. In 1989 he studied with Magnum documentary photographer Eugene Richards, and he graduated from the University of Texas in photojournalism in 1995. He has been a staff photographer with the Austin Chronicle since 2000.
