University of Texas professor Robert Jensen will speak on racism and white privilege to the Rio Texas chapter of the Methodist Federation for Social Action.
Jensen is the author of the 2005 book The Heart of Whiteness: Confronting Race, Racism and White Privilege and the recent article “Two Things White People Should Never Say” in YES! Magazine. Jensen’s forthcoming book, Plain Radical: Living, Loving, and Learning to Leave the Planet Gracefully, will be published in October by Counterpoint/Soft Skull.
