After a screening of “In the Land of the Free,” Robert King, the only freed member of the Angola 3, will talk about his experiences in prison and helps to raise awareness for political prisoners.

The documentary tells the story of the Angola 3 (Herman Wallace, Albert Woodfox and King). Herman and Albert, who were first placed in solitary confinement in 1972 and are still held under these conditions, were founding members of the first prison chapter of the Black Panther Party, worked along with King to speak out against the inhumane treatment and racial segregation in the prison.
