Earth Week at Huston-Tillotson University kicks off with a talk from local researcher and community activist Katie Pace, who will discuss how the waterways of Austin shaped its history of settlement, movement, and segregation. Pace is currently writing an environmental history of race, place, and development in Austin and offers historic walking and biking tours of the city center.
