Under the Hood Cafe and Outreach Center, adjacent to Killeen’s Fort Hood Army base, is a place where soldiers, families, friends and community members socialize, get information on service members’ and veterans rights, get referrals for legal and wellness services and participate in creative workshops. Under the Hood is beginning its fifth year of work in that community.

This event is an opportunity to meet with the current board of Under the Hood Cafe and join in food, fun, art and poetry in celebrating humanity and remembering the legacy of Martin Luther King.
